Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale women's volleyball team struggled against the Tigers of Fashion Institute of Technology. The team fell in three sets, 3-0 (18-25, 21-25, 21-25).
The Tigers powerful serves caused repeated errors for the Blues. Sophomore right side hitter Emily Schulte connected for three kills and three aces. Sophomore setter Ciarah Minnig produced three kills and seven digs while sophomore outside hitter Katie O'Neill scooped eight digs and tallied two kills and one ace. Freshman middle hitter Carolyn Hazard blocked two Tiger shots and collected one ace.
The team's record stands at 6-3 and Brookdale will next host the Roadrunners of Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester on Tuesday, October 1st at 7pm in the Collins Arena.
