Paramus, NJ - Sophomore outside hitter Katie O'Neill has been named Garden State Athletic Conference Division III women's volleyball player of the week for the week ending September 8th.

O'Neill totaled 14 kills, six service aces and 19 total attacks as the Jersey Blues women's volleyball team opened the 2019 season with a five-set thriller against Union County College. Brookdale overcame the Owls defense and notched the 3-2 (20-25, 25-18, 25-19, 24-26, 15-10) victory.
