New York City, NY - The Brookdale women's volleyball team traveled to Fashion Institute of Technology to face the Tigers and were defeated in three, 0-3 (22-25, 8-25, 14-25).
The first set saw repetitive tied scores as the Jersey Blues were very competitive but the Tigers were too tough to control on the receiving end. Freshman middle hitter Emily Schulte recorded six points on four kills and two blocks while sophomore outside hitter Jennybell De Jesus posted five kills. Freshman outside hitter Kaitlyn O'Neill aced one serve and notched four kills.
The team will return home to face the Owls of Union County College on Thursday, September 20th at 7:00pm.
