Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's volleyball team was topped by the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College, 0-3 (10-25, 15-25, 11-25) and the Knights of CCBC Essex, 0-3 (11-25, 11-25, 11-25).

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's volleyball team was topped by the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College, 0-3 (10-25, 15-25, 11-25) and the Knights of CCBC Essex, 0-3 (11-25, 11-25, 11-25).
Despite good defense, the Blues were unable to stop the dominance of the balanced attacks from the Lions and the Knights. Sophomore outside hitter Katrina Hand collected nine kills, 21 digs and one ace as sophomore defensive specialist Johanna Williams added six kills, 12 digs and one block. Freshman middle hitter Nicolette Cooper contributed 22 digs while freshman setter Taijha Williams posted eight assists, two kills and eight digs.
The team returns to action on Monday, September 18th against the Owls of Union County College in the Collins Arena at 7:00pm.
