Women's Volleyball Rallies For Conference Win Against Middlesex County College

Lincroft, NJ- After a first set defeat, the Brookdale women's volleyball team found their rhythm and topped the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 3-1 (20-25, 25-12, 25-15, 25-21).

Sophomore outside hitter Katrina Hand registered 16 kills, eight aces and 18 digs while sophomore defensive specialist Johanna Williams tallied eight kills, two aces, two assists and six digs. Freshman middle hitter Nicolette Cooper recorded three kills, three aces and one block as freshman setter Taijha Williams dished a team-high 16 assists.

The team improves their overall record to 2-1 and will return to action on the road at Ocean County College on Thursday, September 14th at 7:00pm.
