Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team was blanked by the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 0-3 (5-25, 19-25, 19-25).
Sophomore outside hitter Katrina Hand recorded five kills and 15 digs as sophomore defensive specialist Johanna Williams notched five kills, 16 digs and one assist. Freshman setter Taijha Williams dished 12 assists and scooped five digs.
After a slow start, Brookdale challenged Bergen in the final two sets before falling short of the win. The team will return to action at home against the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College on Tuesday, September 12th at 7:00pm.
