Rebecca Franey Named To First All-Tournament Team; Women's Volleyball Drops Two Matches At Dragon Invitational
Columbia, MD- The Brookdale women's volleyball team dropped two more games at the Dragon Invitational against CCBC-Essex, 0-3 (18-25, 17-25, 14-25) and Harford Community College, 0-3 (19-25, 16-25, 17-25). Sophomore setter Rebecca Franey earned first team All-Tournament honors for her performance over the weekend.

Columbia, MD- The Brookdale women's volleyball team dropped two more games at the Dragon Invitational against CCBC-Essex, 0-3 (18-25, 17-25, 14-25) and Harford Community College, 0-3 (19-25, 16-25, 17-25). Sophomore setter Rebecca Franey earned first team All-Tournament honors for her performance over the weekend.
In game one against CCBC Essex, freshman outside hitter Katrina Hand recorded 12 kills while Franey notched 14 assists and 14 digs.
Match two against Harford Community College, freshman right side Stephanie Goodrow served two aces while Hand ripped seven kills and scooped 15 digs. Franey added another 12 assists as freshman middle back Hermione Bankole blocked two shots. Freshman outside hitter Brandy Zielenbach slammed six kills.
The Jersey Blues return home to face the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College on Tuesday, September 6th.
