Columbia, MD- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team fell against the Knights of Community College of Rhode Island, 0-3 (15-25, 14-25, 12-25) in game one of the Dragon Invitational held at Howard Community College. Freshman outside hitter Katrina Hand crushed 12 kills and sophomore setter Rebecca Franey posted 12 assists and 12 digs.

Freshman outside hitter Katrina Hand crushed 12 kills and sophomore setter Rebecca Franey posted 12 assists and 12 digs.
Freshman middle back Hermione Bankole totaled three blocks.
In game two, Brookdale was swept by the Dragons of Howard Community College, 0-3 (10-25, 16-25, 17-25). Hand notched another eight kills while Bankole contributed four digs and two blocks. Franey dished 11 assists in the match-up.
The team returns to action at the Dragon Invitational on Sunday, September 4th to face CCBC Essex and Harford Community College.
