The Jersey Blues Split At Howard Tournament
Columbia, MD- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team fell to the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 0-2 (15-25, 19-25). Sophomore defensive specialist Kirby Marron smashed two kills, freshman right back Olivia Hayes collected two aces and five assists while sophomore outside hitter Justeen Adams contributed three aces.

Columbia, MD- The Jersey Blues women's volleyball team fell to the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 0-2 (15-25, 19-25). Sophomore defensive specialist Kirby Marron smashed two kills, freshman right back Olivia Hayes collected two aces and five assists while sophomore outside hitter Justeen Adams contributed three aces.
In game two, Brookdale topped the Baltimore City Community College Panthers, 2-0 (25-17, 25-21). The Blues totaled 10 aces and 33 digs.
Sophomore outside hitter Morgan T. Schweitzer tallied five aces, seven digs, one assist and three kills while sophomore middle back Jenn Keefe posted four kills, one ace and no errors in nine attempts.
Sophomore libero Ally Latourette recorded one ace, two assists, four kills and nine digs. Hayes also collected two aces, three kills and dished a team high 12 assists.
The team returns to action on Sunday, September 6th against CCBC Essex and Nassau Community College at Howard Community College.
