Brookdale Sweeps Centurions of Bucks County Community College

Colts Neck, NJ - The Brookdale women's tennis team swept all seven matches against the Centurions of Bucks County Community College. The Jersey Blues opened up the match with two solid victories in doubles play.

In singles action, sophomore Toni Kauffman downed her opponent at first singles in two sets, 6-0, 6-0 while sophomore Brianna McCarthy and sophomore Grace Meyer posted 6-1, 6-0 wins in second and third singles. Sophomore fourth singles Lindsey Nelson defeated her opponent 6-0, 6-0 as fifth singles sophomore Krysta Cieslik earned a 6-0, 6-1 victory.

The team improves their record to 1-1 and will return to action on the road on Monday, September 17th at 3:30pm at Camden County College.
