Women's Tennis Grabs Conference Win Against Ocean Vikings

Toms River, NJ- The Brookdale women's tennis team tallied their first win of the season against the Vikings of Ocean County College, 6-3. Freshmen Toni Kauffman and Brianna McCarthy opened up doubles action with a win at first doubles, 8-6.

Second doubles partners Hailey Johnson and Grace Meyer recorded a victory after downing their opponents, 8-4. In singles action, first, second and third singles all posted two set wins as freshman fifth singles Lindsey Nelson topped her opponent, 6-1, 2-6 (10-8).

The team will return home to face the Spartans of Northampton Community College on Saturday, September 23rd at noon.
