Peter Eno Selected As New Head Women's Tennis Coach
The Brookdale athletic department and director of athletics Shawn Noel is proud to announce the hiring of Peter Eno as the new head women's tennis coach.
Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale athletic department and director of athletics Shawn Noel is proud to announce the hiring of Peter Eno as the new women's tennis coach. Eno who has been teaching tennis for over 25 years learned the game of tennis from his father. Eno became certified to teach tennis in 1990 with the USPTR and taught for 20 years at the Colts Neck Racquet Club and continues to teach privately at the Shrewsbury Racquet Club. Eno plays locally and competes in tournaments and leagues. His teams have won a World Team 4.0 championship in Indian Wells, and lost in finals of last years Men's Doubles 4.5.
"Coach Eno is excited to get started and we are excited to have him lead or women's tennis program." said Noel.
Brookdale has produced many women's tennis players who have qualified for the NJCAA national tournament including one national champion, Farrah Smoke of Wall, NJ, at first singles in 2012. Noel went on to add " Eno knows the game and will help Brookdale get back to cultivating and teaching young women to how to compete." Brookdale will begin its practices and workouts this August.
