Brookdale Women Secure Solid 2-0 Win Against Union

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale women's soccer secured a 2-0 in-conference win over the visiting Union College Owls this past weekend.

The first goal was scored with 12:56 on the clock as freshman forward, Cameron Hughes, scored her first collegiate goal with the assistance from freshman midfielder, Ava Rodriguez. The score was held until 65:58 when freshman forward, Taylor Suckey, plunged the ball in the back of the net for her second goal of the season. Freshman goalie, Juliet Nies, collected seven saves, and it should be noted that freshman defender, Lexi Ricci, registered six shots on goal for the day.

Brookdale is on the road for their last game of the regular season to play the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars on Tuesday, October 22nd, at 4:00pm.
