Brookdale hung tough in the first half as Mohawk Valley had six shots on goal compared to Brookdale's five. The Hawks scored within the first seven minutes and squeezed in another goal at the 43:05 mark. The Blues were still in it until the Hawks just unleashed early in the second half with three consecutive goals in six and a half minutes. Brookdale had opportunities, but they just couldn't produce a rhythm. "The team played well. Despite the score, it was a pretty even game," said head coach, Nil Onder.
The Jersey Blues will play the #7 Community College of Rhode Island Knights next on Wednesday, November 9th, at 1:30pm.
