Cranford, NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team disturbed the Union College Owl nest with a 3-0 sweep defeat, improving their conference record to 2-0.
The first goal for the Jersey Blues came from sophomore midfielder, Grace Broderick (Middletown South High School), who was assisted by freshman midfielder, Marissa Pane, at 57:39. Goal #2 at the 66:49 mark was produced by sophomore midfielder, Gabrielle Hueth (St. Rose High School), who was fed by sophomore forward Rori McDonough. McDonough scored the third goal for the Blues with the assist from freshman defender Jordyn Gravini, with 74:30 on the clock.
The Blues (2-1) will spend the weekend in upstate New York with their first opponent being the Herkimer College Generals on Saturday, September 23rd, at 6:00pm.
