Tinton Falls, NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer squad fell to the Union County College Owls, 2-1, on the Capelli Sports Complex turf in a conference combat. With the loss, the Blues dropped to an overall record of 2-6.

Sophomore goalie, Emma Bennett (Middletown South High School), finished with 21 saves to keep things close. Freshman midfielder, Mary Thorp (Wall High School), scored the lone goal off of freshman forward, Rori McDonough's (Shore Regional High School) foot early in the first half. 

Brookdale will be home on the Lincroft campus field to play the Ocean County College Vikings on Saturday, October 8th, at 11:00am.
