Baltimore, MD - The masterful skills and numbers of the DII CCBC Essex Knights were just too much for the Jersey Blues in their rainy, 6-0 loss.
The Blues played down with just nine players and struggled on both ends of the field. Brookdale held on defensively, with zero shots on goal, but ultimately took their second loss of the season. Sophomore goalie, Emmett Bennett, was strong in her spot with 23 saves.
Brookdale (1-2) returns to Jersey to prepare for the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners conference match-up on, Saturday, September 17th, with a 12:00pm start in Sewell, NJ.
