Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale women's soccer team won their sixth straight game, including their 7-0 defeat over the Ocean County College Vikings.
Initiating the well-dispersed scoring was freshman midfielder, Gabrielle Hueth, who put a pretty through-ball onto sophomore forward, Jada Trotta, as she jabbed a shot in the corner of the net. Three minutes later, freshman midfielder, Milena Alves, fed freshman forward, Samantha Coleman, for her shot-crossed ball that snuck in just past the keeper.
At minute 23, Jada Trotta had an unassisted goal off of a free kick which bounced around the 18 until Trotta inevitably scored. With 29 minutes on the clock, Trotta returned the assist for freshman field player, Rebecca Reynoso; her first goal of the season. Reynoso scored her second goal of the game off of a header at the 43:00 mark on a cross-pass made by freshman midfielder, Dorothy Seidle.
For the sixth goal, Jada Trotta, provided her second assist on the day for freshman midfielder, Lianna Quezada, who had a beautiful combination play. The seventh and final goal was set up as freshman midfielder, Paige Coulahan, put a cross on the ground through the back post as Dorothy Seidle was in the right place at the right time.
Brookdale is currently 7-2 overall and 6-0 in the conference. They will host the Raritan Valley Community College Golden Lions on Tuesday, October 12th, at 3:30pm.
