Columbia, MD - The Brookdale women's soccer team lost the first of their two-game series in Maryland against Howard Community College, 3-1.
"Overall, we played well as a team with a strong defensive game," said Head Coach, Nil Onder. The Dragons were just too much for the Blues despite the lone goal made by sophomore forward, Jada Trotta, and the 19 saves captured by sophomore goalkeeper, Emma Bennett.
The Blues (1-1) will remain in Columbia, Maryland for a second game on Sunday, September 19th, against the Cape Fear Community College Sea Devils at 11:00am.
