Brianna Quezada Named 2020 GSAC Woman Of The Year
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College's Brianna Quezada (Old Bridge High School) was honored at Seton Hall University on Sunday, February 9, 2020 for being chosen as the recipient of the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW), Garden State Athletic Conference - Woman of the Year Award for the Jersey Blues.
Lincroft, NJ- Brookdale Community College's Brianna Quezada (Old Bridge High School) was honored at Seton Hall University on Sunday, February 9, 2020 for being chosen as the recipient of the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW), Garden State Athletic Conference - Woman of the Year Award for the Jersey Blues.
In her two years at Brookdale, the Old Bridge native was a starting defender for the women's soccer team. Quezada made an impact on the field and created so many scoring opportunities for the offense because of her persistence and determination on every single play.
Quezada also served as the President for the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and headed multiple community service initiatives throughout Monmouth County, including preparing dinner at the Ronald McDonald House in Long Branch twice. Brianna also won Brookdale's first evert campus wider scavenger hunt, spoke at the Student Achievement Showcase and presented at the Honors Symposium.
Quezada is currently attending Rutgers University.
