Manalapan, NJ - In a tough battle against the DI Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, the Jersey Blues women's soccer team suffered their first defeat, 3-1.
After going down by two, sophomore forward Jenna Karabin curved a free kick into the left corner for Brookdale's lone goal of the game. The team continued to rally but fell short as the game came to a close.
The team's record stands at 10-1-1. Brookdale will return to action in the Region XIX tournament as they take on the #8 seeded Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College on Saturday, October 26th at 12pm at Nut Swamp Elementary School - turf field.
