Lincroft, NJ – The Brookdale women’s soccer team won a thrilling double-overtime contest against the Barons of Rowan College at Burlington County to remain undefeated on the season.

Lincroft, NJ – The Brookdale women's soccer team won a thrilling double-overtime contest against the Barons of Rowan College at Burlington County to remain undefeated on the season.
Freshman forward Lauren Karabin scored in the extra time to give Brookdale its 12th win of the season. She also scored Brookdale's first goal, coming in the 44th minute to give Brookdale a 1-0 halftime lead.
The Barons scored two goals in a five minute span in the second half to give them a 2-1 lead, but freshman forward Jenna Karabin scored the game-tying goal in the 72nd minute, which ultimately forced overtime. Sophomore midfielder Jessica Textor and freshman midfielder Haley Dalonzo recorded assists for Brookdale. Sophomore goalkeepers Sheridan Casserly and Mya Schaumloffel combined to make eight saves.
The Jersey Blues return to the field on Tuesday, October 9th when they host Union County College for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
