Brookdale Overpowers Anne Arundel, 2-1
Columbia, MD - The Brookdale women's soccer team overpowered the Riverhawks of Anne Arundel Community College, 2-1. Freshman midfielder Haley Dalonzo tallied the first goal of the game from a pass off the foot of freshman midfielder Bethany Olejarz.

Columbia, MD - The Brookdale women's soccer team overpowered the Riverhawks of Anne Arundel Community College, 2-1. Freshman midfielder Haley Dalonzo tallied the first goal of the game from a pass off the foot of freshman midfielder Bethany Olejarz.
The Riverhawks answered back before the half was over to tie the game. The Blues regrouped at halftime and outlasted and overpowered Anne Arundel in the second half. After a called back goal, freshman forward Lauren Karabin found the back of the net a second time to grab the win.
Brookdale had a successful weekend in the Dragonfly tournament and really showed perseverance, drive and heart. The team improves their overall record to 7-0 and will return home to face the Vikings of Ocean County College on Thursday, September 20th at 3:30pm.
