Madison Doria Drills Game Winning Goal As Brookdale Grabs Fifth Straight Win
Garden City, NY - Sophomore defender Madison Doria beautifully placed a direct kick in the back of the net, scoring the game winning goal for the Jersey Blues women's soccer team. Brookdale defeated the Lions of Nassau Community College, 3-1.

Garden City, NY - Sophomore defender Madison Doria beautifully placed a direct kick in the back of the net, scoring the game winning goal for the Jersey Blues women's soccer team. Brookdale defeated the Lions of Nassau Community College, 3-1.
After freshman forward Lauren Karabin put the Blues on the scoreboard first, Nassau answered back to tie the game before halftime. Sophomore midfielder Jessica Textor dished the assist. Freshman midfielder Haley Dalonzo posted the third and final goal for Brookdale, late in the second half. Sophomore sweeper Devon Moreno let the Blues defense in the physical match-up and kept the Lions to their lone goal.
The team improves their overall record to 5-0 and will next take on the Dragons of Howard Community College at 1:30pm on Saturday, September 15th.
