Edison, NJ- Freshman midfielder Jessica Textor dished a free kick that freshman midfielder Madison Doria ripped in the back of the net to score the game winning goal in sudden dealth overtime. The Jersey Blues slipped past the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 4-3.

Edison, NJ- Freshman midfielder Jessica Textor dished a free kick that freshman midfielder Madison Doria ripped in the back of the net to score the game winning goal in sudden death overtime. The Jersey Blues slipped past the Blue Colts of Middlesex County College, 4-3.
After a productive first half, Brookdale led, 2-0. Sophomore forward Breeana Cassidy scored on a left-footed shot for the first goal of the game off a pass from Doria. Minutes later, Textor delivered a beautiful corner kick to the foot of freshman defender Alexis Cuje, who drilled in the second goal for the Blues. Madison collected the third goal of the game in the second half, minutes before the team had a 13 minute let down where Middlesex capitalized and scored three goals.
Cassidy also added one assist in the match-up.
The team improves their overall record to 4-0-1 and will next travel to Raritan Valley Community College on Thursday, September 21st for a 3:30pm kick-off.
