Women's Soccer Rallies Past Holyoke CC, 3-1; Amanda Karabin Tallies Two Goals, One Assist
Dryden, NY- The Jersey Blues women's soccer team rallied past the Cougars of Holyoke Community College, 3-1 after being down 1-0 at the half. Sophomore midfielder Endila Radoncic put the Blues on the board after drilling the ball in the back of the net off a header. Sophomore forward Amanda Karabin dished the assist from a corner kick.

Sophomore midfielder Endila Radoncic put the Blues on the board after drilling the ball in the back of the net off a header. Sophomore forward Amanda Karabin dished the assist from a corner kick.
Less than four minutes later, Karabin received a ball from Radoncic and launched it past the Holyoke keeper to put Brookdale ahead by one. Three minutes after that, Karabin scored the third and final goal of the game from a chipped pass from sophomore defender Colleen Branagan.
The team played a tight defensive game, led by sophomore defender Michelle Montefinese. Freshman goalkeeper Kayla Breaud contributed six saves in net.
Brookdale improves their overall record to 2-0 and will return to action at home against the Dragons of Howard Community College on Sunday, September 4th at noon.
