Brookdale Rallies Past Harford, 2-1; Aubrey Jones Records Both Goals

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's soccer team rallied past the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 2-1. Freshman forward Aubrey Jones broke free from her defender and ripped the first goal of the game in the 27th minute of play. Sophomore forward Simone McEnough collected the assist.

Lincroft, NJ-  The Jersey Blues women's soccer team rallied past the Fighting Owls of Harford Community College, 2-1. Freshman forward Aubrey Jones broke free from her defender and ripped the first goal of the game in the 27th minute of play. Sophomore forward Simone McEnough collected the assist.

In the second half, Harford tied up the score. Brookdale continued to maintain possession of the game and with 1:18 left on the clock, Jones sprinted past the last Fighting Owl defender and scored the game winning goal. Freshman midfielder Amanda Karabin dished the assist.

The team improves their overall record to 15-1.  Brookdale returns to action on Saturday, October 31st to play for the Region XIX title.
