Catonsville, MD- The Brookdale women's soccer team downed the Cardinals of CCBC Catonsville, 8-1. Freshman goalkeeper Marti Stewart posted seven saves for the Blues.
In just over six minutes of play, sophomore forward Caroline Duerr found the back of the net to put the Blues up by one. Duerr collected three more goals and one assist before the end of the game. Sophomore midfielder Raquel Rodriguez dished the assisted to Duerr's first goal.
Sophomore forward Nicole Rodriguez posted one goal and two assists while freshman midfielder Kimberly D'Ermilio, freshman forward Viktoria Odell and sophomore center-midfielder Brooke Tartis recorded a goal apiece. Tartis also contributed two assists.
Freshman defender Alexandria Montefinese collected her fourth assist of the season in the 28th minute of the game.
The team returns to action on the road on Saturday, October 18th against the Knights of CCBC Essex.
