Ashley Cafarella Named GSAC Women's Soccer Player Of The Week

Blackwood, NJ- Ashley Cafarella of Brookdale Community College has been named GSAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week, according to the league office.

Cafarella dominated play this week, scoring two goals in each of Brookdale's three wins on the week.  Her most impressive performance came against eighth-ranked Ocean County College.  The freshman midfielder got the Blues on the board first, in the 17th minute.  She then made good on a Brooke Tartis assist to notch the game-winning tally with two minutes remaining in the second overtime period.
