Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women's soccer team overwhelmed the Owls of Union County College, 3-0. Freshman midfielder Ashley Cafarella led the Blues offense with 2 goals. Cafarella put the Blues up early, finding the back of the net in the first minute of the game. Sophomore forward Nicole Rodriguez assisted Caferlla's first goal and posted one of her own.

Cafarella put the Blues up early, finding the back of the net in the first minute of the game. Sophomore forward Nicole Rodriguez assisted Caferlla's first goal and posted one of her own. Sophomore forward Caroline Duerr tallied the assist.
Sophomore center-midfielder Brooke Tartis contributed an assist to Caferella's second and final goal of the game in the fifty-first minute.
The team improves their record to 9-1 overall, 6-0 in conference play. The Jersey Blues return to action at home on Thursday, October 2nd against Cumberland County College at 4pm.
