Colorado Springs, CO- Caroline Duerr was named the NJCAA Division III player of the week in addition to be named the Garden State Athletic Conference player of the week.
In a match-up of the number one and number two-ranked teams, Duerr came out firing on all cylinders for the top-ranked Jersey Blues' women's soccer team. With four of the team's six goals, Duerr led her team to a 6-1 victory at Rowan College at Gloucester County. Duerr, a 2013 All-GSAC first team honoree, wasted no time scoring the contest's first two goals in the opening 13 minutes. Not to be outdone, she found the back of the net twice more in the second half. Earlier in the week, Duerr scored three times and assisted on another as Brookdale defeated Division II rival Burlington County College, 4-1. Duerr currently is ranked second in the Nation in goals (7) and ranks third in points (15).
