Brookdale Women Defeat Sussex To End Regular Season

Newton, NJ - Brookdale women's basketball finished their regular season with a win over the Sussex County Community College club team, 52-33.

Sophomore guard, Emily O'Keeffe, stepped up for the Jersey Blues scoring 19 points while adding nine rebounds and four steals. Sophomore guard, Ryann Bannerman, also pulled down nine rebounds to add to her 12 points. Sophomore forwards, Camila Garcia, and Madison Fernandez, dominated the boards; Garcia grabbed 15 and Fernandez had 14 rebounds.

The Jersey Blues (18-8) will continue their season with the first round of region play at home on Tuesday, February 25th, at 5:00pm as they face the Northampton Community College Spartans.
