Schnecksville, PA - The Brookdale Community College women's basketball team showed up strong after an eighteen day break to crush the Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars, 79-49.
The tough effort was spread across the board as sophomore point guard, Emily O'Keeffe, hit for 20 points as the leading scorer. Sophomore guard, Ryann Bannerman, downed 15 points and snatched 10 steals as sophomore forward, Camila Garcia, posted 14 points and nine rebounds. Freshman forward, Jocelyn Jackson, added 11 points, and sophomore power forward, Madison Fernandez, helped with her 10 points and nine rebounds.
Next up for the Blues (9-4) is a home game against the Sussex County Community College Skylander club team on Thursday, January 9th, at 5:00pm.
