Brookdale Women's Basketball Show Fight, But Lose Battle To Top RCSJ-Gloucester
Sewell, NJ - Brookdale women's basketball were flexed and ready to battle Region 19's top contender, the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners, but the Jersey Blues couldn't hang on in the 72-50 loss.
Sewell, NJ - Brookdale women's basketball were flexed and ready to battle Region 19's top contender, the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners, but the Jersey Blues couldn't hang on in the 72-50 loss.
Freshman forward, Jocelyn Jackson, lead all scorers with 17 points and five rebounds. Freshman guard, Taylor Suckey, was on fire, hitting four for six three-pointers to finish with a high 14 points and six rebounds. Sophomore forward/center, Madison Fernandez, remained consistent and tough on the boards with 12 rebounds.
The Jersey Blues (8-4) will be back in action on Tuesday, January 9th, at 5:00pm, as they face the the Cougars of Lehigh Carbon Community College on the road.
