Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale women's basketball began their 2024-2025 season with a "W" in their 65-41 lancing over the Northern Essex Community College Knights.
Sophomore guard, Emily O'Keffe, dropped a couple of three-pointers to lead the Blues and finish with 19 points. Sophomore forwards, Camila Garcia and Madison Fernandez took care of business and helped propel the win with their double-doubles. Garcia scored 18 points and pulled 14 rebounds, and Fernandez scored 13 as she recorded a whopping 24 rebounds.
The Jersey Blues (1-0) are home again on Thursday, November 7th, as they challenge Pennsylvania's, Lehigh Carbon Community College Cougars, with a 5:00pm tip off.
