Lincroft, NJ - The top ranked Northampton Community College Spartans overpowered the Jersey Blues in a tough loss Region 19 contest, 87-52.
Despite the loss, three Jersey Blues scored in double figures. Freshman forward, Jessly Rivera (Freehold High School) tied top scoring of 15 points with sophomore guard, Ashley Ventura (Elizabeth High School), and freshman forward/center, Madison Fernandez (Keansburg High School), posted a double-double with 10 points and 18 monster rebounds.
Brookdale (3-11) hosts the 5-4 Sussex County Community College Skylanders on Thursday, February 1st, at 5:00pm.
