Lincroft, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues women's basketball team were on fire from the get-go, scoring 31 points in just the first quarter to go on and defeat the Bergen Community College Bulldogs, 90-46.
Two Jersey Blues recorded double-doubles to lead Brookdale to victory. Freshman guard, Camila Garcia, netted 20 points and 10 rebounds, while freshman forward/center, Madison Fernandez, added 18 points, 17 rebounds and six assists. Freshman guard new add, Ryann Bannerman, also dropped 20 points and teammate guard, Emily O'Keefe, served up 13 points and nine assists to round out the balanced attack.
Next up for the 3-8 Blues is Middlesex College in an away contest on Thursday, January 25th @ 5:00pm.
