Newton, NJ - The Jersey Blues lost a tough battle to the Sussex County Community Skylanders, 43-39, in a tight conference match-up.
Brookdale was in the lead most of the game and just couldn't hang on. Freshman guard, Camila Garcia (East Brunswick Tech High School), led the Blues with her double-double by netting 14 points and topping in rebounds with 11. Freshman forward/center, Madison Fernandez (Keansburg High School), also contributed 10 huge rebounds.
The Jersey Blues women (0-2) will greet the Camden County College Cougars (2-2) at home on Saturday, December 2nd, for a 12:00pm start.
