Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale sank the first basket of the game and didn't look back as they led from beginning to end over the Sussex County College Skylanders in a 62-38 conference win.
The Jersey Blues jumped out to a 23-8 first quarter lead with a trio of 3-pointers from sophomore point guard, Carissa Reyes, who finished with 19 points and 10 rebounds. A second double-double was deposited from sophomore guard, Rahkhia Mack, with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore forward, Jasmine Sullivan, was just shy of a double-double as she tallied 13 points and nine rebounds. Freshman point guard, Ava Myskowski, shot for double figures with her essential 12 points.
The 5-4 Jersey Blues return to action on the road to play a non-conference game against the CC Morris Titans on Tuesday, December 6th, at 5:00pm.
