Jersey Blues Women Bow To Prince George's CC, 62-41

Largo, MD - After a wide-gapped win vs Bergen CC before the weekend, the Jersey Blues met the NJCAA Division III, number 13 ranked, Prince George's Community College Owls, and took a tough loss.

The Jersey Blues fought hard, relentless, in the first 20 minutes as they held onto a one point lead going into the half. Brookdale continued their lead into the second half, but simply ran out of gas and were outsized against the Owls. Sophomore guard, Giana Piccini, finished with 16 points, and freshman guard, Rha-khia Mack, pulled down nine rebounds for the Blues.

The (2-2) Brookdale women will rest and reload to play the Anne Arundel Community College Riverhawks on Sunday, November 21st, in Arnold, MD.
