Jersey Blues Put Bergen Bulldogs In The Doghouse;Three Players Record Double-Doubles
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's basketball team defeated the Bergen Community College Bulldogs by a score of 94-43 with three players recording double-doubles.
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's basketball team defeated the Bergen Community College Bulldogs by a score of 94-43 with three players recording double-doubles.
Freshman forward, Jasmine Sullivan (Hillside High School), led all scorers with 19 points. The three Jersey Blues who recorded double-doubles were, freshman guard, Rha-khia Mack (Piscataway High School), with 17 points and 12 assists, freshman guard, Jada Rogers (Long Branch High School), with 16 points and 10 rebounds, and sophomore forward, Natasha Onyango (Plainfield High School), finishing with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
Adding to the high-scoring win was freshman guard, Carissa Reyes (Henry Snyder High School), with 15 points, seven assists and seven steals, and sophomore guard, Giana Piccini (Keyport High School), adding 14 points.
The Jersey Blues women (2-1) will head to Baltimore, Maryland, for their first game of two over the weekend against the Prince George's Community College Owls on Saturday, November 20th @ 1:00pm.
