Bethlehem, PA - The Brookdale women's basketball team fell in region play to the Spartans of Northampton Community College, 77-62.
Giana Piccini (Keyport High School) had a game-high 25 points as classmate Melissa Golembieski (Middletown High School North) gripped a double-double with 13 points and nine assists. Natasha Onyango (Plainfield High School) also registered a double-double with 10 points, 16 rips off the glass, and four steals. Freshman center, Kenya Wagner (Holmdel High School) added 10 points and Anna Catanzaro (Howell High School) pulled 11 rebounds.
The Jersey Blues will look to grab a win against RCSJ - Gloucester on Thursday, February 6th @ 5:00pm in the Robert J. Collins Arena.
