Arnold, MD – The Brookdale women's basketball team held off a late comeback and earned a 54-49 victory on the road against Anne Arundel Community College.
Sophomore guard Rachel Rouse led the Jersey Blues with seven field goals, four 3-pointers and 20 points. Three Jersey Blues recorded double-digit rebounds. Freshman guard Veronica Njie led the team with 15 boards, sophomore guard Camarie Brown had 13 and sophomore forward Dionne Griffith recorded 12. Brookdale had 48 rebounds as a team.
The team will return to action on Thursday, November 8th at Borough of Manhattan Community College for a 5:00pm tip-off.
