New York, NY – The Brookdale women’s basketball team continued its hot start to the season as they doubled-up the Panthers of Borough of Manhattan Community College, 81-40.

New York, NY – The Brookdale women's basketball team continued its hot start to the season as they doubled-up the Panthers of Borough of Manhattan Community College, 81-40.
Four Jersey Blues recorded double-figures in the win. Sophomore guard Rachel Rouse led the team with 18 points and seven field goals. Sophomore guard Camarie Brown scored 17 points and led the team with six steals and five assists. Freshman guard Veronica Njie scored 16 points and made five 3-pointers. Freshman center Jessica Poplawski added 16 points and nine rebounds in 23 minutes off the bench. Sophomore forward Dionne Griffith led Brookdale with 14 rebounds. The team registered 50 rebounds in the contest.
Brookdale will return to action on Thursday, November 15th against CC of Philadelphia at 5:00pm in the Collins Arena.
