Brookdale Picks Up Important 74-62 Win Over Ocean

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues women's basketball team picked up an important 74-62 win over the Vikings of Ocean County College on Pink Zone Night. Both teams supported Cancer Awareness and sported pink socks and pink arm bands.

Freshman point guard Che'Kasha Andrews highlighted Brookdale's offense with 20 points and five assists. Sophomore point guard I'Briana Moore knocked down 18 points and grabbed five rebounds while sophomore forward Colleen Branagan added nine points and eight rebounds.

With the win, the team improves their overall record to 19-6, 14-2 in conference play. Brookdale returns to action on the road at Middlesex County College on Tuesday, February 21st for a 5:30pm tip-off.
