Women's Basketball Come Back Falls Short By Three Against Passaic Panthers
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale women’s basketball team overcame an 11 point deficit in the fourth quarter, but it wouldn’t be enough as the Passaic Panthers ended up with a 58-55 win at Collins Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Lincroft, NJ – The Brookdale women's basketball team overcame an 11 point deficit in the fourth quarter, but it wouldn't be enough as the Passaic Panthers ended up with a 58-55 win at Collins Arena on Saturday afternoon.
The Jersey Blues cut the Passaic lead to four points with 3:55 to play, when freshman point guard Che'Kasha Andrews, who finished with 30 points, scored five unanswered points to give Brookdale a 53-52 lead with 3:08 remaining. The two teams exchanged leads from that point on with Passaic coming away with the three point victory in the end. Brookdale falls to 11-5 overall and 10-2 in the GSAC with the loss.
The team returns to action on Tuesday, January 24th when they travel to Rowan College at Gloucester County for a 5 p.m. tip-off, beginning a two game road trip. They return to Collins Arena on Tuesday, January 31st when they take on Atlantic Cape Community College at 5 p.m.
