Brookdale's Fay And Hart Win GSAC POTW Awards

Lincroft, NJ - For the second time this season, Brookdale sweeps the GSAC DIII Softball weekly award with Jillian Fay and Jules Hart earning the player of the week honors.

Freshman right-handed pitcher Jules Hart spun for three wins on the week as the Jersey Blues swept Bergen Community College and NJCAA #8 ranked Middlesex College. Hart tossed for 16 innings and struck out 14 batters. With the wins, Brookdale rolls to a 17-5 Region 19 record and a 29-9 overall record.

Sophomore infielder Jillian Fay had a stellar week for the Jersey Blues who swept Bergen Community College and NJCAA #8 ranked Middlesex College. Fay was instrumental in all four wins, contributing five hits for one double and one triple, scoring six runs and knocking in five runs. Fay also stole three bases on the week.
