Sewell, NJ - Brookdale softball found themselves restrained against the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners after dropping two intense conference games, 5-4, 7-3.
Brookdale had a 4-0 lead the entire game until the bottom of the 7th inning when the Roadrunners rallied to score all of their five runs to paralyze the Blues. Brookdale's three RBI's came from freshman center fielder, Jaylen Campbell, who went 2-for-4 with a double, freshman second baseman, Mya Bonilla, and sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe.
The fight continued in the second game for the Jersey Blues as they were defeated 7-3. Bonilla came through once again with an RBI from her 2-for-3 at bats, as freshman right fielder, Carmela Esposito, and freshman pitcher, Jadeyn Pavlik, also tried to get a rally going with an RBI each.
