Toms River, NJ - Coming off of back-to-back games on the week with four wins, the Brookdale Community College softball team added two run-rule wins over the Ocean County College Vikings with final scores of 22-8, 21-5.

Toms River, NJ - Coming off of back-to-back games on the week with four wins, the Brookdale Community College softball team added two run-rule wins over the Ocean County College Vikings with final scores of 22-8, 21-5.
Sophomore shortstop, Jillian Fay, continues to lead her fellow starters with a .547 batting average as she did not disappoint against the Vikings. Fay batted 4-for-6, including three triples for three RBI's. Freshman Jules Hart went 5-for-5 with a triple for two RBI's. Freshman center fielder, Jaylen Campbell, had an RBI single and sophomore left fielder, Sara Nazzaro, batted 3-for-5 for two RBI's.
In the game-two five inning win, Jillian Fay, added two more RBI's on the day with a double in her 3-for-5 chances in the batters box. Jules Hart added a third RBI in the double win after hitting 3-for-4. Freshman, Jadeyn Pavlik, stayed in the circle for all 11 innings with four strikeouts to improve her record to 10-6 on the season.
Brookdale, 25-7, faces their next challenge on the road against region contender, RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners, on Saturday, April 19th, beginning at 12:00pm.
