Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball picked up a pair of wins beating the Bucks County Community College Centurions club team, 14-4, 21-3, in five innings a piece.
In game-one, freshman second baseman, Mya Bonilla, and sophomore catcher, Jessica Fay, each contributed three RBI's and sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe, added a two RBI triple. Sophomore shortstop, Jillian Fay, went 4-for-4 including a triple for two RBI's as well. Brookdale right-handed pitcher, freshman, Jules Hart, got the win in the circle with 11 strikeouts to improve her record to 9-2.
The 21-3 second game win brought 17 hits from Brookdale. Jessica Fay kept her hot streak, batting 4-for-4 with two doubles for a whopping six RBI's. Sister, Jillian Fay, tacked on a double and four RBI's as Audra Lowe batted a 1.000 of 4-for-4 with a triple and two doubles. Freshman center fielder, Jaylen Campbell, and sophomore third baseman, Jamie Vigil, both came through with two RBI's a piece.
One RBI each came from sophomore Zamira Egriu and freshman right fielder, Jules Hart. Freshman Pitcher, Jadeyn Pavlik, picked up her sixth victory on the mound with six strikeouts.
With the victories, the Jersey Blues improve to 17-5 and will head to Toms River, NJ next to play the Ocean County College Vikings on Saturday, April 5th, beginning at 12:00pm.
